Are grey squirrels in England turning red?

Were American greys always a bit brown?

Is a recessive red squirrel gene manifesting itself?

Are greys developing the ';ginger gene'; to deal with the British climate?

Are the environmental conditions that gave rise to the red squirrel in the first place causing the grey to evolve into red?

Are my observations false and grey squirrels don't look red at all?Are grey squirrels in England turning red?
Fur colour in mammals is a minor characteristic when determining species. Many mammals change fur colours in response to environmental pressures, so it quite possible that grey squirrels may develop different colouration in different environments. Are grey squirrels in England turning red?
